Crafts for Kids

Our Education Department is rolling out new fun craft activities for kids on our Facebook and Instagram channels. Make a hedgehog while reading one of Jan Brett's many hedgehog-themed books—all you need is some construction paper, a gluestick, a paper plate (or semi-circle of construction paper), and your imagination! Use your creativity (and maybe some markers, glitter, sequins, or stickers) to decorate your hedgehog.

And even though Easter has passed, you can still decorate your own beautiful vitsa (willow wand) with ribbons, flowers, feathers, and more!

You can also make your own paper bag puffin puppet, create a "wooly" sheep, and rosemal your own (paper) plate

And a couple crafts for adults, too...
We're about to launch our own online Icelandic embroidery class, but in the meantime several of our creative partners have released digital adult crafting content of their own.
