Directions + Parking


General parking is available in the Museum’s parking lot which can be accessed from the corner of Market and 28th; the rate is $2/hour unless otherwise marked.

Visitors may find alternative parking along Market Street, in the residential neighborhood surrounding the Museum, or at the Hiram Chittenden Locks parking lot—a 5-minute walk to the Museum.

Ballard is serviced by Metro busses 17 and 44. You may plan your Metro trip here: https://tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/


SDOT currently has construction going on NW Market Street west of the Museum.
