Visiting during your birthday week? Just show your ID to receive half-off general admission for you and a guest! It's a birthday gift from us to you!
Please note: due to an error, Seattle Mag published that the Museum is free on the 17th of May. While all Syttende Mai activities are free, purchased admission is still required to visit the Museum galleries. Thank you for your understanding!
The Museum strives to be accessible for all visitors. If you have specific questions or concerns, please email our Visitor Services staff or call the Museum at 206.789.5707. We have a limited number of manual wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-serve basis for use within the Museum. Accessibility ramps and doors are located at both entrances. Special events occasionally block the entrance from the Sun Terrace, closest to the parking lot; however the front entrance is always accessible during Museum hours. The Museum's second floor galleries are accessible by elevator.
During regular Museum hours, parking is limited but available for Museum visitors. Rates begin at $2 (for two hours), with $1/hr for any additional hours.
There are a number of accessible parking spaces within the Museum's parking lot. Ramps are located both in the parking lot to access the Sun Terrace entrance, and at the front of the buliding to access the Market Street entrance.
Market Street is under construction this summer, with traffic reduced to one lane in either direction near the Museum. Our parking lot should remain fully accessible.
See a performance. Attend an art opening. Take a class. Celebrate a holiday or a special event. We host numerous events each week, month, and year. What's on your calendar?
