It's time for our 43rd annual Julefest!
Julefest looks a little different this year, but you can still find fun, festive holiday cheer at the Museum.
Though we can't gather in the thousands for Nordic music, holiday treats, and dozens of vendors, we're still celebrating at the Museum. We kick off Museum with a Julefest-themed Virtual Crafts & Cocktails on Thursday, November 19. Then November 20—22, you'll find an expanded selection of goodies in the Museum Store, plus amazing holiday decorations throughout the Museum. We can't have Santa this year, but you can still take a seasonal selfie with the perfect holiday backdrop! These three days will also feature a special, reduced admission price.
Thursday, November 19—Sunday, November 22
Free for Members and children 13 and under
$10 general admission (includes admission to the Museum's permanent exhibitions and visiting exhibitions)
You must reserve your tickets in advance with our new timed ticket admission form online or by phone
We expect tickets to sell out for the weekend, so reserve yours now
Virtual Crafts and Cocktails: Julefest
Thursday, November 19 | 6pm
Kick off Julefest by making a festive craft and sipping a holiday-themed drink at our virtual Crafts & Cocktails. You and your friends will have fun connecting online while you unwind at home and celebrate the season. This month’s craft will be taught by local artist Jaffrey Bagge.
Cost: $5; tickets will be available soon
Museum Store Marketplace
Our Museum store is excited to offer an expanded selection of Nordic and Nordic-inspired treats and treasures, perfect for gifting this holiday season. Plus, you'll find specials and discounts, so you can save while you shop!
Although we cannot welcome back our full Julefest Marketplace, we are able to have a few specially-selected vendors join us in Osberg Great Hall Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22. This way you can still shop some of your favorites while maintaining a safe social distance.
Christmas Decor Galore
We're making sure the Museum is a decorated holiday wonderland this year. Santa has to stay socially distant, so can't take photos with the jolly old elf, sadly; however, be sure to bring your own camera so you can snap some family pics amidst our beautiful decorations.
Ticket price: $3
Our winter raffle kicks off at Julefest, with amazing prizes to be had! We'll announce our grand prize soon, and provide a link for you to donate for your chance to win. Every raffle ticket purchased directly supports the National Nordic Museum!
