More 2021 Knitting Conference Information

We look forward to an amazing conference!
Below you will find some information to help you navigate the conference, and local information on parking, transportation and accommodations.

Check-In: When you arrive at the Museum, please visit the conference desk to check-in and pick up your goody bag. Remember that admission to Museum exhibits is included in the cost of all courses! You will be provided an admission pass at check-in to enjoy our exhibits throughout the day.

Our Refund Policy: Refunds may be issued up to 14 days before the conference. Contact Kate Dugdale directly for questions related to refunds.

Want to Transfer to a Different Class? We will do our best to make accommodations for exchanges; due to the intimate size of most courses and the popularity of the conference, options for an exchange may be limited. Please reach out to us directly at 206-789-5707x 7009 if you need assistance.

The Course I want to Attend is Full! If the course you want is at capacity, sign up to be waitlisted. Waitlist sign-up can be done from the online event ticket listing. Our ticketing system will automatically notify you if an opening becomes available.

Local Hotels: At this time a conference hotel package has not been established. Stay tuned to this site page to find more information as it becomes available. Below is a short-list of nearby hotel accommodations that may be of interest.

Accessibility: The Museum facility is accessible for all visitors. For more information about accessibility and visitor experience questions, please reference our site HERE (link to accessibility page on our website) or contact us at 206.789.5707 x7000 for more specific information.

Transportation & Parking: For those of you who are from out of town—we need to brace you—traffic and parking can be a little hairy in Seattle! In addition to a whole lot of cars on the street, there is also a whole lot of construction happening throughout Seattle, and in Ballard. We recommend you plan ahead if you have a lengthy commute.

General parking is available in the Museum’s parking lot which can be accessed from the corner of Market and 28th. Parking cost is $2 for two hours, with $1 per hour for any additional hours, unless otherwise marked.

Visitors may find alternative parking options off Market Street, in the residential neighborhood surrounding the Museum, or at the Hiram Chittenden Locks—a 5-minute walk to the Museum.

Ballard is serviced by Metro busses 40 and 44. You may plan your Metro trip here: https://tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/
