Using double-pointed needles can seem intimidating to beginning knitters, but authors ARNE & CARLOS will soothe those fears. Wrist Warmers make excellent and quick gifts for young and old alike! And a project like this is a great way to practice your stranded knitting in the round! No matter what the season or the outfit, keep your hands covered in high style!

Skill Level: Novice-Advanced

What to Bring: 1 set of 5 DPNs size 3 mm (U.S. size 3, U.K. size 11) for ribbing; 1 set of 5 DPNs size 3.5 mm (U.S. size 4, U.K. size 8) for stockinette; 2 balls of ROWAN Felted Tweed: 1 ball (50gr) in color #197 Alabaster and 1 ball in color #178 Seasalter

Homework: With smaller size DPNs and color #197 Alabaster CO 48 sts. Join and divide sts evenly over 4 dpn = 12 sts per dpn. Work around in k2, p2 ribbing for 12 rows.

Other Information: Choosing the right yarn and tools for any project is an essential! For those participants with little or no experience knitting with double-pointed needles, we strongly recommend bringing wooden or bamboo needles or Prym’s ergonomic needles. Please do not bring metal or carbon needles if you have never used dpns before.
