Special Event
Virtual Crafts & Cocktails
Sep 24, 2020
6:00pm - 7:00pm PST

Recharge from your day with an evening of creativity and fun! Join us for our virtual Crafts & Cocktails event to learn a cocktail recipe and make a Nordic craft using supplies you have around the house.

This month's craft is: Bashed Flower Postcards

Take out your frustrations over the state of the world, use that slightly wilted bouquet off the table, and make a lovely card to send to those far off friends and family that we haven't been able to visit.

The materials you will need are:

  • Hammer
  • Scissors
  • Thick paper or cardstock
  • Paper towels
  • Thick wood cutting board or solid work surface, suitable for hammering on
  • Flowers and leaves--brightly colored petals and flowers work well, especially if they are a little dried out.
  • Miscellaneous writing pens/pencils

For this month's cocktail, you'll need:

  • Gin
  • Elderflower liqueur
  • Lime juice
  • Rose water
  • Dried rose petals as a garnish

The Zoom link for this event will be in your receipt. Please contact Kate Dugdale at kated@nordicmuseum.org for any assistance.

Cost: $5
