Virtual Crafts & Cocktails
Dec 17, 2020
6:00pm - 7:00pm PST

Recharge from your day with an evening of creativity and fun! Join us for our virtual Crafts & Cocktails event to get a mini-virtual tour from one our docents, learn a cocktail recipe, and make a craft using supplies you have around the house.

You will receive an email from Museum staff after signing up for this program, providing you with the cocktail recipes and a template for creating this month's craft. Signups for this class will not be monitored after 5:50pm, December 17th. Please email Kate Dugdale at kated@nordicmuseum.org with any questions.

This session of Crafts & Cocktails is in partnership with Swede Hill Distillery. Our 2019 Julefest spiked apple cider featured Swede Hill Apple Pie Moonshine which sold out both Saturday and Sunday! Swede Hill will donate 10% off all bottle sales to the Museum from now until December 17 if you order online and use code Julefest at checkout. The cocktail we make will feature Swede Hill alcohol. (Cost of shipping prohibitive? While the Museum will not receive any percentage of sales, the Seattle Interbay location of Total Wine sells Swede Hill products if you would like to purchase any in person.) For the cocktail recipes, you will also want:

  • Cranberry juice
  • Lime juice
  • Ginger beer
  • Apple juice
  • Caramel syrup

This month we are making Danish paper woven hearts, perfect for your Christmas tree or to adorn gifts. For this craft, you'll just need two different colors of paper, scissors, and tape.

Cost: $5
