Virtual Nordic Stories: Four Hens and a Rooster
Apr 01, 2021
10:00am - 11:00am PST

Join us for story time and craft with our special guest, librarian Sara Jensen.

We will listen to the story Four Hens and a Rooster, written and illustrated by Lena and Olof Landström from SwedenFour hens live on a farm and a little rooster lives there, too. But when the rooster becomes a bully, the hens have to do something. Expressive illustrations give pluck to this hilarious barnyard tale.

After the story, Sara will teach kids how to make a craft with items found at home.

Sara brings her imaginative story time skills from 20 years of experience as a librarian in public libraries hosting events for children and families. She connects creativity with books and reading to inspire people (small and big) be curious, learn and grow. Her story time channel can be found at https://www.crowdcast.io/misssaralibrarian
