The National Nordic Museum Folk School series highlights traditional Nordic crafts, embracing the dynamic nature of traditional folk art and innovations which change tradition overtime.
Build your confidence and skills of basic carving techniques with the guidance of professional woodcarver, Erik Holt. Explore Baroque Acanthus, Rococo and Viking/Dragon woodcarving styles. No tools or experience necessary. Registration covers costs associated with three classes, which should be taken consecutively.
Cost: $160/three sessions for Members; $170/three sessions for general admission; materials and tool rental fee, valued at $25, included.
Single session tickets may be purchased by participants, on-site. Cost:$55/day for Members; $58/day general admission; materials and tool rental fee included.
Tickets are non-refundable, and non-transferable to another participant.
