To open our 25th season we celebrate L. A. Ring—the Danish master painter behind our current temporary exhibition—through musical interpretation by another Dane who is considered a creative genius in his own right. In a unique concert reflecting on the themes in L.A: Ring’s artistic universe, internationally-renowned jazz and improvisational artist Nikolaj Hess, known for his “fluidity, harmonic command and palpable determination at the keys,” paints a modern impression of one of Denmark’s most celebrated artists.

To view the rest of the season's lineup and purchase season tickets (the best value), visit our Mostly Nordic webpage at www.nordicmuseum.org/mostlynordic.

This season, we are pleased to offer a special price for all students. Please use the code MNSTUDENT at checkout to receive your discounted price, and bring your valid student ID with your ticket for entry.

Cost: $25 for Members; $30 general admission; $10 students

Organized in cooperation with the American Friends of Statens Museum for Kunst
